DiviniTree Yoga and Arts Studio is a true community space; offering yoga classes, workshops, fundraisers, teacher trainings, donation based yoga classes, a free yoga week, as well as community gardening, service-based trips and international workshops. All DiviniTree studios provide much more than an hour of yoga on the mat; it is a space for intentional community, changing people’s lives, and offering a way of living in harmony with ourselves, each other and the Earth.
True to its name, the studio plants one tree, with Trees for the Future, for every attendee at each class. Tens of thousands of trees have been planted since the studio opened in January 2011 in Santa Cruz, Ca. DiviniTree now has two studios in Santa Cruz, one studio in Monterey and one studio in Santa Barbara.
Behind the design
DiviniTree hired me to create flyers, posters, ads and other materials to promote the classes, teachers and studio itself. In the process the studio’s visual profile has been improved as well as the consistency throughout the brand and across all channels. Whimsical photography is mixed with bold typography and minimal layouts. The style is like the studio itself; minimal and with an artisan aesthetic.
